| | | MyTripSafe (My Trip Safe) offers a self-service travel organization and protection service where members can store information about their business trips and family vacations. While away on a vacation or business trip, MyTripSafe members can access all of their detailed trip information from any web-enabled computer or handheld device (such as a smartphone). Having access to this information protects the traveler from losing vital information, such as travel arrangements, hotel confirmations, flight numbers, passport numbers, and travel or health insurance policies. Offering an inexpensive trip management and protection tool, MyTripSafe allows members to define and store contact, trip, passport, credit card, debit card, other bank card, and insurance policy information. In addition, for each trip defined, members can organize and store flight reservations, hotel reservations, bus and train reservations, car service reservations, car rental reservations, cruise information, dining reservations, meetings, and information on any other activity such as theme park tickets and zoo locations. Members have access to the information at any time, even if they lose travel documents, a purse or wallet, passport, computer, mobile phone, or other trip information while away. All you need is access to the internet, and you can look up the critical information above. For example, you can look up all of your flight, hotel, and car rental reservations, or get the information needed to call banks to cancel and replace lost or stolen credit cards, or to get your passport number in case it is lost while travelling overseas. MyTripSafe members can also define a shared access password that can be given to friends and family members so that they can have read-only access to the member's contacts and trip information (private information such as passports and credit cards is not shared). This may be useful, for example, if a friend is picking you up from the airport and needs to know your flight number and arrival time. |
